Non-Prescription Treatments for Rosacea

ZENMED

The Zenmed skin care system promotes itself to limit the inflammatory process and decrease tissue swelling through a trans-dermal delivery system which is to heal and regenerate the skin.

Rosacea Cream by Zenmed is an all natural topical treatment containing manuka and other botanical extracts, essential oils and therapeutic ingredients which are synergistically combined to aid in the calming of facial redness, flushing and broken blood vessels commonly associated with rosacea.

The ingredients in Rosacea cream are water, aloe vera gel, essential oils of helichrysum, chamomile, lavender, rose geranium and rosewood, manuka extract, carrot seed oil, rose hip oil, vitamins B,C,D and E, and sorbin acid as a natural preservative.

These ingredients work to strengthen the collagen network of the skin and to promote cellular regeneration.

The ingredients in the Cleansing Gel are water, glycerin, natural gel, kukui oil, ammonium myreth sulfate, essential oils of lavender, geranium and tangerine, vitamin E and a natural preservative.

Another product in the Zenmed line is Derma Cleanse. This is an acne product rather then a rosacea product as many rosacea sufferers also have acne.

Zenmed does not treat acne as just a skin problem; but as an internal “problem”.

Strontium Calming Lotion

Strontium Calming Lotion by Rosacare is specially formulated to relieve facial burning, stinging, itching or redness due to environmental or chemical irritants.
Strontium, in fact, is a natural element found in many of the foods we eat, especially green, leafy vegetables. It is the eighth most abundant element in seawater.

The Calming Lotion might take days or weeks to reverse hyper-reactive sensory pain fibers in the facial skin.

The Calming Lotion's actions might be present, but subtle.
